About the Event
AUDITION
Dancers do not need to prepare audition material. Choreography will be taught to demonstrate dance technique and/or acting ability. Younger students must be able to follow directions and be able to participate in the entire audition process without parental help.
REQUIRED ATTIRE
Girls: Leotard, ballet tights, well-fitted ballet slippers/or point shoes, hair swept up and back off face and in bun.
Boys: white t-shirt, black tights/shorts, well-fitted ballet slippers.
APPLICATION FORMS & FEES
A non-refundable audition fee of $25 (Early Bird or $35 on the same day) is due at the pre-registration along with the audition form.
CAST MEMBER ACCEPTANCE & ROLE ANNOUNCEMENT
Those chosen for the cast will be notified on the same day by the end of the audition.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
All roles regularly rehearse once a week.
Rehearsal Time TBD by the Host Studio.
Rehearsals will take place at the Host Studio.
Weekly rehearsal days/times will be posted on the Host Studio’s website.
MANDATORY DRESS REHEARSAL
A mandatory dress rehearsal will be held on the day of the show, the exact time of which is TBA. It will take place at Steinmetz Hall, 445 S Magnolia Ave, Orlando, FL 32801 on January 2nd.
